NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. THE PRESSX TOURNAMENT IS A FREE, SKILL-PREDOMINANT PREDICTION CONTEST, NOT A LOTTERY, RAFFLE, BET, WAGER, OR GAME OF CHANCE. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. These Official Rules form part of, and are governed by, the PressX Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
The PressX Tournament (the "Tournament") is operated and sponsored by PressX S.A., a sociedad anonima organized under the laws of the Republic of Panama (the "Sponsor", "PressX", "we", or "us"). The Tournament is administered from Panama and offered globally to eligible participants.
By registering for or participating in the Tournament, you fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Tournament. These Official Rules supplement the PressX Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If any conflict arises, the controlling provisions of the Terms of Use (liability, dispute resolution, arbitration, governing law, eligibility, age, sanctions, and AML) always prevail; these Official Rules otherwise govern the mechanics of entry, scoring, winner selection, prizes, and forfeiture.
The Tournament runs in seasons offered on a rolling, global basis. The Sponsor publishes the current season, the available Markets, and the prizes for that season on the PressX website; each Market opens and resolves on its own published schedule. The Sponsor's clock is the official timekeeper for all purposes.
The Tournament is open only to natural persons who, at the time of entry and at all times during participation:
The Tournament is NOT open to, and you may not participate from: the United States, its territories and possessions; any comprehensively sanctioned or embargoed country or region; any jurisdiction where the Tournament, a free prize contest, crypto-denominated prizes, or the specific Markets offered are prohibited or would require a license, registration, or bond that the Sponsor does not hold; and any person on an applicable sanctions list. The Sponsor publishes and updates the list of Excluded Jurisdictions on the PressX website and uses geo-location, identity, and sanctions controls; it may refuse, suspend, or disqualify any entry that does not satisfy these requirements.
Employees, officers, directors, and contractors of the Sponsor and its affiliates, and members of their immediate households, are not eligible to win Prizes.
Entry is free. To enter: (1) register for the PressX Beta with a valid email at beta.predictions.pressx.com (no purchase, deposit, payment, or wager of any kind is required at any stage); (2) receive your free starting Virtual Balance in Credits; and (3) make Predictions on the available Markets during the season.
Because no purchase or payment is ever required to enter, play, or win, no alternative method of entry is necessary, every participant enters for free on equal terms. Limit one (1) account per person. Creating or using multiple accounts, or entering on behalf of another person, is prohibited and is grounds for disqualification.
In the event of a dispute over the identity of a participant, an entry and any resulting standing or Prize will be deemed made by, and awarded to, the authorized holder of the email address registered to the account, who must be an eligible natural person. PressX may require proof that you are the authorized account holder.
The Virtual Balance / Credits exist only to score skill within the Tournament. They are not real money, not a deposit, not a stake or wager, and have no cash or monetary value. They cannot be bought, sold, funded, cashed out, transferred, or converted, and they are unrelated to any product, balance, token, or account on the separate real-money cryptocurrency exchange operated under the PressX brand. Credits are also distinct from PRX: Credits keep score inside the Tournament and are never awarded, paid out, or exchanged, whereas PRX, where offered, is a separate Prize asset that a winner may receive under Section 9.
The Tournament is a contest of skill. Winning depends on the accuracy of a participant's Predictions about real-world events, the application of knowledge, research, analysis, and judgment, and not on chance. Each Market resolves on a verifiable real-world outcome. Rankings are determined by the growth of a participant's Virtual Balance over the relevant period, calculated by the Sponsor's published scoring method. In the event of a tie, the tie is broken in favor of the eligible participant who first reached the qualifying score. The Sponsor's determination of all rankings and winners is final.
Subject to verification and these Official Rules, the Sponsor awards, by ranking:
The exact prizes, amounts, and number of prizes available for the current season are published on the PressX website. All amounts shown as "up to" are maximums; the amount actually awarded may be lower as published for the relevant period. The odds of winning a Prize depend on skill and on the number and quality of eligible entries. Prizes are awarded in USDT (a USD-denominated stablecoin), or such other form as the Sponsor specifies, and delivered to an eligible, verified wallet provided by the winner. Prizes are non-transferable, and no cash or other substitution is permitted by a winner, except that the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Prize of equal or greater value, or to award the cash-equivalent value, where necessary for legal, operational, or availability reasons. If an advertised Prize becomes unavailable, the Sponsor may award a substitute of equal or greater value or not award that Prize.
PRX token prizes. Where a Prize is awarded in PRX, the following also applies. PRX is delivered only to a winner who has completed all verification in Section 12 and provided a compatible, eligible wallet, and may be subject to additional distribution terms, network fees, lock-up or vesting windows, or availability limits published by the Sponsor. PRX is provided solely as a reward for skill-based performance and not as an investment, security, yield-bearing instrument, or promise of any present or future value; its market price may fluctuate or fall to zero, and the Sponsor makes no representation or guarantee as to its value, liquidity, listing, tradability, or convertibility. The Sponsor may, in its discretion, award USDT (or another form) of equivalent value instead of PRX, or withhold a PRX Prize, where distributing PRX to a particular winner or in a particular jurisdiction is restricted, unlawful, or would require a registration, license, or filing the Sponsor does not hold. Receipt and holding of PRX are additionally governed by any applicable PRX and PressX token terms.
The Tournament is skill-based; the odds of winning a Prize are not a matter of chance and depend on each participant's predictive accuracy relative to other eligible participants and on the total number of eligible entries.
Potential winners are identified from the final or weekly rankings and notified using the contact details associated with their account within a reasonable time after the relevant period closes. The Sponsor is not responsible for, and may disqualify a potential winner for, unreachable, inaccurate, or out-of-date contact information.
No Prize is awarded, and no participant has any right to a Prize, until the participant has satisfied all verification requirements to the Sponsor's satisfaction. As a condition precedent to receiving any Prize, a potential winner must, within the time the Sponsor specifies:
A potential winner who fails to complete verification, is found ineligible, is located in or a resident of an Excluded Jurisdiction, appears on a sanctions list, or has breached these Official Rules or the Terms of Use forfeits the Prize and any claim to it.
If a potential winner does not respond, cannot be verified, declines, is ineligible, or forfeits within fourteen (14) days of first notification, the Sponsor may, in its discretion, select an alternate winner from the next eligible ranking, re-allocate, or decline to award that Prize. The Sponsor is not required to award a Prize for which no eligible, verified winner exists.
Winners are solely responsible for all taxes, levies, and charges of any kind arising from a Prize, wherever they are resident, and for any reporting of those amounts. The Sponsor does not provide tax advice. Where any law binding on the Sponsor requires withholding or reporting on a Prize, the Sponsor may withhold, report, or condition the Prize accordingly, and may require the winner to provide tax information before the Prize is delivered.
Where permitted by applicable law, and except where prohibited, acceptance of a Prize constitutes the winner's consent for the Sponsor to publish the winner's username or handle, and general location such as country, in connection with announcing results, without additional notice, compensation, or consent. The Sponsor will not publish a winner's full legal name or sensitive personal data except as required to administer the Tournament or comply with law. Personal data is handled in accordance with the PressX Privacy Policy.
The Sponsor may disqualify any participant and void any entry or ranking that it reasonably determines has: created or used multiple or fake accounts; used bots, scripts, automation, or unauthorized tools; colluded, manipulated Markets or scoring, exploited a bug, or otherwise tampered with the operation of the Tournament; provided false information; or breached these Official Rules or the Terms of Use. Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Tournament may be a violation of law, and the Sponsor reserves the right to seek all available remedies.
The Sponsor reserves the right, in its reasonable discretion, to suspend, modify, shorten, extend, or cancel the Tournament (in whole or as to any Market, prize, or jurisdiction) if fraud, technical failure, a change in law, a regulatory action, or any cause beyond its reasonable control corrupts or threatens the integrity, security, or proper administration of the Tournament. Such action will not reduce or cancel any Prize that has already vested in a verified eligible winner. The Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware, software, network, or communications failures, or for late, lost, incomplete, or misdirected entries or notifications.
No platform sponsorship. The Tournament is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc., Google LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any other app store, platform, or device maker, none of which is a party to these Official Rules or has any responsibility for the Tournament. Where the Tournament is offered through a third-party platform or app store, you also agree to that platform's applicable rules.
By participating, each participant releases the Sponsor and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, liability, or damage arising out of participation in the Tournament or acceptance, use, or misuse of any Prize, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and subject to the limitations, caps, exclusions, and mandatory consumer-law carve-outs set out in the PressX Terms of Use. Nothing in these Official Rules limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable mandatory law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other non-excludable matter.
These Official Rules and any dispute arising from or relating to the Tournament are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and are subject to the dispute-resolution and arbitration provisions of the PressX Terms of Use (confidential, binding, individual arbitration seated in Panama City, with the class/representative-action waiver described there), to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Where mandatory consumer law gives a participant non-waivable rights to their local courts or supervisory authorities, those rights are preserved.
Participation requires no consideration: no purchase, payment, deposit, wager, or stake is required to enter, play, or win, and paying nothing will never improve a participant's chances. The Virtual Balance is not a stake and has no cash value; Prizes are awarded by skill-based ranking, not by chance. The Tournament is intended and operated as a free, skill-predominant contest and is not a lottery, raffle, consideration-based sweepstakes, bet, wager, or game of chance. If any authority determines that the Tournament, a specific Market category, or crypto Prizes constitute a regulated activity in a jurisdiction, that category or jurisdiction will be withdrawn and these Official Rules will be deemed modified or severed as applied there, without affecting the Tournament elsewhere and without Prize liability beyond Prizes already vested.
If any provision of these Official Rules is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
The Sponsor may update these Official Rules from time to time; the current version published on the PressX website governs. For the winners of a season, or for any question about these Official Rules, contact legal@pressx.com.
